warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Denver' for 'MDT/-6.0/DST' instead in /home/cybetah4/public_html/abridgetoegypt/sites/all/themes/abtetheme/page.tpl.php on line 80.

Thank you once more for your suggestions. We recommend you get your news directly from masrawy.com if that is your preferred news source. Unfortunately, all their news articles are in Arabic and they do not offer a RSS service. We continue to refine our news search robots to get the most relevant news articles about Egypt in all our sections. That is our strategy. It will take us a few weeks to refine our robots but please rest assured that our content will continue to be more relevant as time goes by.

The site looks impressive

I wanted to express my many thanks to the authors of this site. It has come a long way from the original days. I am so excited about being able to create blogs. I will definitely be a regular participant here.

Cheers

Cairo Tower Photos

Dear ABTE webmaster

I would like to congratulate you for the excellent job you are doing in the new ABTE website. One item I really miss from the old ABTE website is the photos taken from top of cairo tower that give a bird's view of cairo in all 360 degrees. Is there a way of restoring them in the cairo page, possibly within a photo album like Alexandria's.

thanks

Photos of Cairo Tower

Unfortunately the photos you refer to are no longer suitable with our new redesigned site. The quality of those scans do not meet our current quality standards. We are working on collecting new photos from Egypt that will be incorporated in the Cairo page very soon.

Just as an update, we refer to the new site by its complete name "A Bridge To Egypt". While the old acronym ABTE was easy to remember and type, it is not favorable for Search Engine Optimization. Search engines simply do not understand how to classify and rank the term ABTE, but are more likely to recognize A Bridge To Egypt.
